Astronomy Constellations: How far would you have to move before that would appear to change shape?
a. To the edge of the solar system
b. To the nearest stars
c. To the Sun
d. To the Moon
Personally I believe it'd have to be to the edge of the solar system, or at the very least to the sun. Don't think it could be as close as the moon. Anybody know the answer?

To the nearest stars..,
If you move to Alpha Centauri, you'd see a "new" bright yellow star in Cassiopeia. That would be the sun, of course. However, you have to considerably move for the astronomy constellations to move. I would say a hundred light-years would be enough to distort most of the constellations you see.

I need to find my old cassette of this album
Voynich Manuscript: ancient astronomy tome written in unknown language w/ pics of unknown constellations
This is terrible video/post. You cant see his stupid computer screen. Nice idea but ridiculous execution.
Yes there is the web site http://www.astronomy.com that is the most reliable. There is the N.A.S.A. based web site, as well. Or google it and they have the Hubble up close and live on the net to show you the planets that the Hubble has recorded you may also see the alignment of the moons on Jupiter as well as the constellations of stars.
Here’s mine: First, Ptolemy created it out of thin air 1700 years ago. Its the combination of psychology and astronomy “constellations”… which is someone’s interpretation of objects in the sky made up of stars… you could make up your own and create your own astrology and be just as legit. Next is the psychology part. Someone decided to add personalities to the signs. This is where the money part comes in. There were originally 13 signs, they dropped one so they could sell it with 12 calender months. There is no logic, facts, or proof, that anything exists between astronomy and psychology except random opinions made up by people with no logic or facts or proof. You need no credentials to be a psychic – all you have to do is claim to be psychic with no proof. There ya go – wrap your thoughts around burned out stars light still traveling to earth in non fixed positions. Someone making their own objects out of the stars light in the sky(there are billions of objects you could create),…
THIS ONE DONT WORK.

were you planning on doing any of this work yourself?
i see cassiopeia, perseus and gemini in there. please do the rest of your work yourself.
he was telling the story about how the constellation lyra got it's name
Remember the constellations with their stories:
Start with the circumpolar group Cassiopeia (W or M) Cepheus, Perseus, Andromeda, Pegasus and Draco. Rent the movie "Clash of the Titans" The youngsters will get a kick out of seeing that movie and then seeing the constellations. Go with the suggestions with sky and telescope, get a subscription.
