What Are Binoculars Telescopes?
wondering what are binoculars telescopes? What benefit do they serve? Will they replace reflector telescopes or even refractors? Find out more about binoculars telescopes in this article, and some information on how you would buy one. In this article, you will soon discover: * What are binoculars telescopes? * What are the benefits of binoculars telescopes? * Where can you buy binoculars telescopes? * Some advice for binoculars telescopes * What are binoculars telescopes? Binoculars telescopes are a recent backyard astronomy thing! They have become more popular as more people have been seeking to break through the boundaries of telescopes. A binoculars telescope is exactly what it says it is. First you will find that it is a telescope! In most cases it is a refractor telescope, and in fact, it is 2 telescopes joined together! * What are the benefits of binoculars telescopes? There are several benefits of binocular telescopes, however for the most part they are real luxuries, as it requires 2 telescopes! The main point of a telescope is its light gathering abilities, and the benefit of binoculars telescopes is that in effect you get double if not more light gathering abilities! When you consider that both your eyes can get the same amount of light for each, something special happens. Users report that it creates like a stereo image, where objects don't look flat, but start to have a dimension such as appearing 3d. Another aspect is that some people have reported that they have seen slight color when viewing the planets. This could be because they have a large enough area of light gathering that is allows seeing the colors of the planets! * Where can you buy binoculars telescopes? You won't find binoculars telescopes everywhere. Finding a good reflector or refractor is hard enough finding, let alone binocular telescopes! However it is possible and there are options. There are some great manufacturers who are hobbyists that turned into making these big binocular telescopes for sale to others. They usually make to order, but you know you are getting something worthy and unique! * Some advice for binocular telescopes Finding a telescope store selling these jumbo telescopes is going to be hard to find. However, going online is a big option and one which can bring about several manufacturers. Another option is to build it yourself, and there are many options to building big binoculars telescopes. The first obvious thing is that you will need 2 telescopes. Either refractors or reflectors. I suggest if you are going to build binoculars telescopes yourself, then consider refractors as they are easier to work with. You will need to align them so they both meet your eyes and can be seen by both your eyes. The result can be immense, and can look amazing having a mammoth style binocular telescope in your backyard!

Binoculars use folded optics (internal mirrors or prisms) to make the image right side up (direct view telescopes are upside down, until you use the star diagnoal) and they are low in power (generally 15x or less) they also have more light gathering power, but lose some of that with the prisms.
They are also stereo (left and right eye) while a telescope is mono.

Most 2 inch focuser come with a 1.25 inch adapter that fits inside the 2 inch hole and converts it to 1.25 inch. SO____ you can use both eyepiece sizes in the telescope by inserting or removing the adapter–
Here is one — with the adapter next to the diagonal–

Layers of rock in the Earth's crust have been known since pre-history. That discovery was probably made by prehistoric peoples 10-20,000 years ago, or more. All they would have needed was to see a rock cliff, a mountainside, a portion of earthquake faultline that pushed some rock layers upward. Eventually, people began to associate certain rock layers with metal ores and minerals, knowing that certain types of rocks would be found in those layers.
It wasn't until around the 1600's though that the idea of layers of the whole Earth began to form. Newton figured out that the interior of the Earth must be denser than the rocks on the surface, but it wasn't until the 1900's that some structure was discerned, using readings from the waves generated by earthquakes. See the article below for more of a history.
i had a Bmw 325i, 1994 , it has 225000 miles, still the engine is running, Great car, Maintenance is expensive, but gives prestige and performance when you drive on Road, catch everyones attention
It absolutely is!
Check out the link I've posted, its for a 22" binocular newtonian telescope.
The issue that you'll have with cassegrains, though, is that you need to get them to have a TON of back focus, enough so that you can use two 45 diagonals on each 'scope to get your eyes to see through both, but it IS possible (if you build your own, might not be with off-the-shelf scopes)
The Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) will do much more. The Very Large Telescope(VLT) was made years before the Large Binocular Telescope and works a similar way but the TMT will be much more powerful and much bigger.

yeh it annoys me too!!
why bother waiting to get new answers and loose 5 points when they could quickly get what theyre looking for!
it even comes up with suggestions of past questions so do they just ignore those too!! lol.
i've also had enough of the "does he like me" questions – how are we possibly supposed to know and if we can make a guess, it must be obvious!!
as you can see, these repeated questions really do bore me!! :}} xx
