Telescope with binocular viewer Vs. regular compare binoculars?
Brian Asked:
How buy prescription drugs online without prescription would the light-gathering ability be with 100mm compare binoculars to a 200mm telescope with a binocular viewer (2 eyepieces)? Would they be equal (100mm each eye)?
Reply:
No. What you need to do is compare binoculars the surface area of the two systems using pi r squared. You can eliminate pi because it's a constant. so you've got 200 squared (= 40000) for the telescope with view compared binoculars to 2 x (100 squared) (= 20000), so the telescope will gather twice as much light as the binoculars, as well as having twice the resolution. The only down side with a binoviewer is the light loss due to the prisms.
