    In my opinion, the "don't ask, don't tell" policy is more protective of gays and lesbians than discriminatory! Just think about it, if you are openly gay, and in a shower with 20 other alpha male men, just one wrong look will get you hurt. Just think of all the teasing, harrassment, bullying, etc. It's sad, yes, and doesn't solve anything, but that's a big reason why that law was set in place. I'm not a guy but I'm pretty sure guys don't like it when they feel a gay guy is checking them out. I'm pretty conservative myself, and I agree with the military's policy on this 100%
