Sonic Asked:
To an observer on Earth, through what angle will Mars astronomy appear to move relative to the stars over the course of 24 hours when the two planets are at closest approach? Assume for simplicity that Earth and Mars move on circular orbits of radii 1.0 AU and 1.5 AU, respectively, in exactly the same plane.

2:30, looks like there is a large gash on Mars.
Neptune is actually farther away from the sun than Pluto during certain points in the micro-planets very elliptical orbit!
Saturn has 50 known satellites and a hexagonal storm on it's north pole that is nothing like we have seen on any other planet!
Uranus has vertical rings.
Jupiter has so many cool things about it, including four large and interesting possibly life bearing moons.
Mar's moon Phoebe will collide with the planet in less than 50,000 years.
Earth has life.
Venus has an exaggerated greenhouse effect giving the planet the highest temperatures in the solar system….up to 900 F (besides the sun)
Mercury has odd dark matter that oozes from it's craters.
It also has a large crater that has radiating cracks coming from the crater….it looks like a rock hit a window….we don't have any idea on what causes the "spider"

noobs, it wasn’t the naked eye, it would like like the moon does to the naked eye, only with a 75 power telescope.
underground oceans.. sounds cool
Hmm, I don’t see the advantage of trading one steep gravity well for another. Even with expected capabilities of nanotech, how is needing to push yourself out of a deep pit on mars to get any where any use at all? Cuz what do you have to do there? Avoiding radiation and meteors means digging in. How fun! Do the same thing to the same effect on luna and you are A) Closer to earth. B) In a higher solar energy orbit. and C) In a lower gravity which facilitates material and product exports.
