Question About Binoculars For Astronomy?

I would like a pair of binoculars, mainly for astronomy. I have read that astronomical binoculars should be no more than 8x56. The link to the ones I am interested in is below. They are 25x100, but are advertised as astronomical binoculars. I understand the higher the magnification, the harder it is to hold them steady. I do have a camera tri pod I can mount them on, but I don't always want to use the tri pod. Are the ones I am looking at good, or is there something better someone can suggest? Thanks.http://www.telescope.com/control/product…

25x binos will need a bino mount. There isn’t any substitute for that. I find even with 7 or 8x binos something to rest them against is essential for the best views – I prefer a wooden stake driven into the ground until it is around chin height. Image stabilised binos are another option but I have never seen them higher than 20x, and even then they have much less aperture than typical for astro binos of equivalent power.
In the case of these 100mm binos the magnification is not the only factor – there is also the sheer weight. Those binos weigh over 10lbs – much too heavy to comfortably use hand held.
Big binoculars like that are great for many types of viewing, but you will need to use them on a tripod or other support at all times. Their combination of size, weight, and magnification makes hand-held viewing virtually impossible. That’s no doubt why the source you read recommended 8×56 max. A reclining chair and a parallelogram mount ( http://www.telescope.com/control/product… ) is a good combination for comfortable viewing, or better yet, build a binocular chair: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/63-382-0-0-… The reason people go to these lengths is because using these binoculars on a straight tripod mount gets uncomfortable pretty quickly. That’s why so many amateurs opt for something hand-holdable.
the view through big binoculars can be spectacular – i have a pair of 20×80s myself – but they are heavy and difficult to hold steadily.
for day-to-day observing the usual choice is 7×50 or 10×50. image stabilized is fun if you can afford it. binoculars are a powerful observing tool, and all astronomers have a pair.
my favorite size for backyard meteor gazing is 7×50.
when picking a pair, try to go for a big field of view.
The best for views of the moon and the milky way are 7X50.
Aperture and field of view angle are important. But so is holding them. There are pantograph supports that maintain angle while adjustable in height. Or you could get the Sky Window. It will let you sit at a table and observe.http://www.tricomachine.com/skywindow/
Or you could get a motorized observing chair from Hammacher Schlemmer for about $2K
Or you can modify a lawn chair or build your own.http://ghonis2.ho8.com/garysbinochair4.h…http://www.tulsawalk.com/projects/rac100…http://www.gillcouto.com/cloudynights/bi…
lol, don't worry about it
I am not one, but I think you need to have some sort of background in mathematics, as well as physics.
some facts about myself: -had almost no interest in making friends til i was about 14 -talk to myself all the time -suicidal at ages 10,12,14, and a little at 16 (now) -starting hurting myself at age 12, have been since -feel like whenever im around people that aren’t in my family, my mind just goes completely blank, like my personality just goes away and i cant say anything even when im not nervous at all -i have really bad social anxiety and its getting worse no matter what i do -never been close to anyone, including family – im REALLY bizarre -feel guilty a lot, usually over things i know are stupid but i cant stop -im extremely paranoid, im always thinking people are making fun of me. if someone even just glances at me, i think that they think that i look weird or stupid or something like that -im waaay too sensitive -for some reason, i sometimes think that im psychic or telepathic or that other people can read my mind,i know thats dumb but i cant help it -whenever someone says…

if you are doing a lot of coughing first, are you sure the fluid is not from your LUNGS? you say nothing about stomach pain.
if there's fluid accumulating in the lungs without having an acute infection, you could have congestive heart failure. This willl not kill you right now but it is NOT A JOKE. You should go see a doctor within a week so you can start treatment before it gets worse.
I ask myself that question daily!
25 or 10 percents
And we get this question is a lot… but we are both consistently single but we are always talkin! lol We gotta get this money right quick!

First,
Edit your book many times to make it the best it can be. Put it in a drawer, and don't even think about it, for a month or two, then take it out and edit it some more.
Type it in proper manuscript form (details can be found at ).
Consider joining a local writer's group to get feedback from other hopeful writers. This is when you need to develop a thick skin when it comes to accepting criticism from others.
Get it proofread by someone who knows what they are doing (don't rely only on spellcheck).
There are very few publishers who accept unsolicited manuscripts (those that don't go through a literary agent), so it's a good idea to get an agent.
Visit or, at the library or bookstore, look for Guide to Literary Agents (published by Writer's Digest), Bwoker's Literary Marketplace or Writer's Market 2009. Look for agents that handle your genre, and are looking for new clients. Read, and follow, their submission guidelines.
In those books will be something about writing a query letter, which is what you send to the agent, first. It's part synopsis of your book, and part explanation as to why your book should be published. You have just that one-page letter to get the agent's attention, so take the time to make it a good one.
Expect the whole process to take lots of time, and expect many rejections. When you are accepted by an agent, they will send your book to publishers, not you.
The whole process of getting an agent is FREE, except for postage, until your book is bought by a publisher. That is when the agent gets their cut, usually 15%, of the money that goes to you. Run away from any agent who asks for money upfront.
Good luck!
