Question by Jono: What Telescope should I buy?
I am looking to buy my first telescope and was wanting some advice on what type to buy. The telescope will be mainly used for viewing stars and planets. I am planning to spend about $ 100 or so, and was wondering whether i should by a reflector or refractor? Also I have seen some reflector telescopes in my price range that have about 675x zoom, I just wanted to know if it is worth buying as i don't want to set it up and not see much. I'll leave a link below of one i am considering. Thanks

Hi. A reflector gives you more light gathering ability. Forget about magnification. You need to start with the LOWEST power you can get, no more than 50x. This will make aiming much easier.
